### What the axes do

wght 100–900

Ghost hairline to full furnace. The 900 has actual mass — it will cost you ink.

opsz 9–144

Optical compensation. Low values tighten for captions; high values open the counters for posters.

SOFT 0–100

Rounds the terminals and joins without making the letters chubby.

WONK 0–1

Swaps in alternate, eccentric letterforms. The axis our critics called irresponsible.
